edition of the Smart Grids Forum held on the 29th of November at Iberdrola\u2019s headquarters in Bilbao, the event brought together 68 representatives from 34 companies within the Smart Grids value chain, fostering collaboration and the exchange of knowledge on the future of grid technologies.<\/p>\n<p>During the session, Manuel Mu\u00f1oz Luengo, Managing Director of LUMIKER Aplicaciones Tecnol\u00f3gicas and Coordinator of EasyDC-FOS, introduced the project to the audience, outlining its context, objectives, technological advancements, and expected outcomes. His presentation emphasised the role of the project in advancing HVDC cable technologies, a crucial step for improving the efficiency and resilience of energy transmission networks.<\/p>\n<p>The Smart Grids Forum, which meets twice a year at Iberdrola\u2019s premises, serves as a strategic platform for sharing research progress, discussing emerging challenges, and strengthening partnerships among key industry players. By participating in this high-profile event, the EasyDC-FOS consortium had the opportunity to engage with leading stakeholders and contribute to the dialogue on integrating renewable energy sources into the grid.<\/p>\n<p>LUMIKER, as the project leader, plays a fundamental role in driving the development of innovative solutions for smart energy infrastructures. The company specialises in advanced sensing and monitoring technologies, providing real-time data and predictive analytics to enhance grid performance and reliability.
