EasyDC-FOS Featured at WindEurope Annual Event 2025 in Copenhagen

The EasyDC-FOS project continues its dissemination efforts with a strong presence at the WindEurope Annual Event 2025, one of the leading international gatherings for the wind energy sector. Held in Copenhagen from 8 to 10 April, the event attracted over 15,000 professionals from across Europe and beyond, offering a vibrant platform for showcasing innovative technologies and discussing the future of wind energy.

EasyDC-FOS was featured at the “Wind Energy Basque Country” pavilion, coordinated by the Basque Energy Cluster, alongside other pioneering solutions supporting the acceleration of the energy transition. This international visibility provided an excellent opportunity to present the project’s objectives and technological progress in the field of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable systems.

HVDC technology plays a critical role in enabling efficient and secure electricity transmission over long distances—essential for connecting offshore wind farms to the grid and enhancing the resilience of Europe’s power networks. By sharing its advancements at WindEurope 2025, EasyDC-FOS is helping to position next-generation HVDC solutions at the core of the renewable energy transition.

The event also served as a hub for networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among key stakeholders in the energy ecosystem, including industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers. Participating in such a dynamic environment reinforces the project’s commitment to innovation and strengthens connections with other European initiatives.

We are proud to have been part of WindEurope 2025 and look forward to continuing our outreach across Europe as we work towards a smarter, more sustainable energy future.
